Tom was professional, easy to work with, and an overall great attorney. My case was resolved with the best possible outcome and I cannot recommend Mr. Richards more! He communicated everything to me using language that was understandable and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you Tom!

Wasn’t in the best of spaces and Tom took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry. I had enough going on and he understood what happened and made it a point to have things resolved for me as quickly as possible.

I contacted Maine Criminal Defense at the end of April to represent me. From then until the resolution of my case, all personnel in the firm, and especially my assigned lawyer Tom Richards, were responsive to my questions and concerns, getting back to me quickly and with clear answers and relevant ad...

Tom Richard was my public defender. I never had to go to court before and have never been accused of anything so this all was new territory for me. At first I had a different lawyer that made it very clear that I was just another nameless client in his busy day. I had to switch lawyer and my case w...
"Attorney Richard is incredibly insightful in dealing with his clients, and will work tirelessly to zealously advocate for his clients. HIs creative thinking helps him come up with the best resolutions for his client, but he's also not afraid to litigate in the courtroom. I wholeheartedly endorse Attorney Richard!"
"I've known Attorney Richard since he began practicing law over 6 years ago. I've watched him grow as an attorney, both in confidence and measured results, and admire the way in which he conducts himself both inside and outside of the courtroom. He is well-respected by both his peers, DA offices, and the judiciary. He leverages relationships to his clients' advantage, and when necessary, has proven himself to be a tenacious and fierce opponent in the courtroom. While he may "only" have 6 years of experience, the quality of that experience is what stands out and what should really be counted as he's tried cases before juries, judges and countless contested hearings on both the criminal and family side. As such, I whole-heartedly and without reservation endorse Attorney Richard!"
"I endorse Tom Richard because he is an effective and diligent attorney who cares about his clients."
"Tom truly dedicates his time to thoroughly reviewing and preparing for each and every case he has. He works diligently to secure favorable outcomes for clients and is truly an asset to have in our firm when it comes to adequately and compassionately handling difficult situations our clients are facing."
