Gorman law started out great! I felt like i was taken care of at first and felt confident having them represent me. My case was solved in about a week after I personally talked to the school. However, the paid fees were more than the hours spent on the case. Was told I would get the remainder of my r...etainer returned to me and they even asked me for my bank details on multiple messages. Bank info was sent then heard nothing for weeks, no funds received. Finally, I inquired again and the secretary told me there were no funds left to pay me and that the law firm was to be closed. I appreciated the work Gorman did for me however the loss of funds was unprofessional and unfortunate.

I, like many of the other reviewers, was abruptly dropped by Mr. Gorman. No other attorney would take my case due to their concerns with steps taken/ not taken by Mr. Gorman. The one attorney he was able to get to take my case, two months in, has now decided to “try other career options.” Meanwhile, ...my case is still pending and I deserve justice. The justice Terry convinced me he would fight for over a year ago. This is a nightmare. I’ve now had to pay two retainers and still fighting alone.

Terry, you advised me at the onset of my case not to take an offer from my school district which would have given me the chance to become licensed. You told me that you could provide a better outcome for me that would have been more advantageous for me in the long run. You assured me that you would b...e able to force the district to sign off on my AC paperwork which would then allow me to become certified. 3 years later...and still nothing to show for this other than a retainer fee that was lost. I am very disappointed in you Terry!

I initially hired Donald Hensley prior to Mr Gorman taking over. From the beginning, he was extremely hard to reach, had ME do clerical work that a paralegal should have done, and had me submit and resubmit documents. He song and danced me as he did some of these other reviewers. He said he would fi...le my case in this court, then it would be moved to another court. There was no evidence that anything was ever done. My frustration with his lack of communication came to a head when I finally went to his Austin office. The receptionist was rude and handed me a post it note to give him a message. I messaged, called, used the web portal, and texted him repeatedly to be answered. His staff rotated in and out. At one point he admitted that my case had been “lost” amid paper work on someone’s desk. I dealt with his lying to me for three years. Then, I get a message saying he is done. Just...,done. Too bad for me. Told me to download all of my documents. So what... now I have to hire another lawyer and pay another retainer? I want my retainer back and in the space of time he claims to have been working my case, I would assume he used it up. I am terribly displeased and find this behavior abhorrent and unacceptable.
