I hired Susan to create a parenting plan for me in September of 2009. Initially she was interested in assisting me with my needs, and was very responsive, but over time her communication became less and less frequent, and she even admitted to being focused on other cases. Originally she stated th...at it would be a very simple process that would take approximately 10 hours to complete. It took 1 1/2 years and ended up costing me over twice what I initially was quoted. I was never given any forewarning that because of some minor additional requests she would require so much additional time, and she certainly never gave me any indication of what she was doing to justify the additional costs. I simply was emailed a bill. As a lawyer Susan Amini did an acceptable job. However, her customer service skills and disinterest in my case led to this being a frustrating and extremely long process for my family and myself.

Susan Amini has given our family both the help and support that we have needed to navigate through the confusing juvenile court system with our son. She has had the knowledge, skills and wisdom to guide us with patience with clear goals in mind to help us now and in the future. Her expertise and expe...rience have given our teenage son the information that he has needed to make decisions that are affecting him now and as he moves through the court system and how these will impact his adult life. She has spent much time with him to discuss these issues clearly so that he understands his choices and the implications of his decisions. She has kept us well informed thru this long process and has been available to us as needed. Susan has truly been a blessing for our family and we would recommend her to anyone who needs or wants an exceptional attorney without reservation. She has been our guiding light.

Susan was great. She always had an answer for any question, will give you an honest and direct answer and was easy to get a hold of. Court was a very stressful time for me and my family and Susan has a calming affect that comes from her years of experience and knowledge. She always knew exactly what ...to say and when to say it and never lost patients with me or my family over all the questions, e-mails and phone calls. She really knows the legal system and is genuine in her fight for her client. The outcome of our case was a gift that would not have been possible with out her expertise.

Extremely unprofessional and unethical. Would have to email 4 or 5 times to get her to answer. It would take two months for something she'd tell me would take a week with no communication between. Consistently dropped communication throughout my entire divorce then would suddenly pop up with docum...ents for me to sign immediately and to come into her office to do so. Said she'd work with me on her fees and with payment, then once she began work on my case, became extremely money focused and even ended up filing a lien against me because I stood my ground with her. Please never hire this woman!!!
