Susan H. Amini

I hired Ms. Amini last year to take care of my citizenship. I had committed misdemeanor 10 yrs ago and got denied citizenship when I applied N400. I also told her that I came here when I was 12 petitioned by my mother. With that being said, she charged me $1000 to get a copy of my FOIA and to... review my case. April 2012 my FOIA came and we sat down and reviewed my case. She flat out told me that with my history I am pretty much in risked of deportation and that I should hire a lawyer back in Cleveland (where Im originally from) and try to drop my charges. I did what she asked me to do. BUT when I had found my lawyer in Cleveland, he told me a different story. With me being here under 18, I am already a citizen and that I just need to apply the N600 and anything I did after I came here pretty much doesn't matter. I was so hopeful and at the same time doubtful for Susan told me one thing and he tells me another. So I had him file my N600, emailed Susan and told her what had this lawyer had said, no response, emailed again, nothing again, and finally I called and spoke to her assistant and he told me " oh it must be the new law that Obama passed " and he told me that he will pass on the message and to this day still no response from Ms. Amini. I just wanted to tell her that I am now a US Citizen and it is not because of her!!! So please, take my advice as well as the others that had given her negative feedback and do not waste your money on her! Educate yourselves and read the Clients reviews for it will definitely save you some money!

Susan brought me out of my DV case so clean it’s a dismissal through SOC. I had to take the SOC route because of my confession record, which was a blunder from me. After being disappointed by previous lawyer I walked into Susan’s office with no hopes in sight, but she brought me out of it the cle...anest possible way, so that it least affects my immigration status. The best lawyer I ever worked with.

I hired Susan to create a parenting plan for me in September of 2009. Initially she was interested in assisting me with my needs, and was very responsive, but over time her communication became less and less frequent, and she even admitted to being focused on other cases. Originally she stated th...at it would be a very simple process that would take approximately 10 hours to complete. It took 1 1/2 years and ended up costing me over twice what I initially was quoted. I was never given any forewarning that because of some minor additional requests she would require so much additional time, and she certainly never gave me any indication of what she was doing to justify the additional costs. I simply was emailed a bill. As a lawyer Susan Amini did an acceptable job. However, her customer service skills and disinterest in my case led to this being a frustrating and extremely long process for my family and myself.

Susan was great. She always had an answer for any question, will give you an honest and direct answer and was easy to get a hold of. Court was a very stressful time for me and my family and Susan has a calming affect that comes from her years of experience and knowledge. She always knew exactly what ...to say and when to say it and never lost patients with me or my family over all the questions, e-mails and phone calls. She really knows the legal system and is genuine in her fight for her client. The outcome of our case was a gift that would not have been possible with out her expertise.

She and her office were handling my case of immigration for a long period of time. and ithas been settled just about one month ago. The office was always very responsive. and I had complete access to them throughout my case and when I arrived at the US embassy , everything had been arraned beforehand... by Susan that even the US consulate was touched by their efficiency.
