Biography
I have been practicing law since 1991. I started out as a deputy prosecutor for the State of Washington. During that time I tried numerous cases in District Court, Juvenile Court and Superior Court. I began my own law practice in 1995. I was also appointed as a Judge pro tempore at that time. I have litigated major crimes including murder and rape cases in addition to various other felonies and misdemeanors. In addition to maintaining an active criminal defense practice, I have served as the Prosecuting Attorney for numerous cities including: Woodinville, Carnation, Buckley and GraniteFalls. I also served as a Hearing Examiner for Seattle.
I am a frequent continuing legal education speaker and have made numerous presentations on trial techniques for lawyers and other law enforcement officials.
