About Shanna
Biography
I have been a member of the North Carolina State Bar since 2015. I was born and raised in Westchester County, New York, and worked in family law, in various capacitiesm from September 2014 to the present. I graduated in 2005 from Ossining High School in Ossining, NY. I graduated from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, in 2009, having majored in History/Political Science. While at Saint Rose, I was a member of Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society.
I moved to Charlotte in 2012 to attend Charlotte School of Law, where I graduated with a certificate in employment law and pro bono honors in 2015. While attending Charlotte Law, I served as an Associate Justice of the Moot Court Honor Board, committee member of the Innocence Alliance, and member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International. I was also selected as an intern for the North Carolina General Assembly for the summer of 2014. Throughout my law school career, I competed in multiple moot court competitions, and was a semi-finalist in an upper level moot court competition, which fueled my passion for oral advocacy.
I am passionate about helping others and I am dedicated to serving those in need; I participates in naturalization clinics, events for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and many other volunteer opportunities. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and dog Ruffin, staying active, taking dance classes, and cooking. I also continue to assist with the Charlotte School of Law Moot Court Honor Board.
I currently focuses my practice on family law and I believe in the importance of affordable and efficient legal services. I understand how challenging the legal process can be and I am committed to making your experience a little easier during these emotional circumstances. I will provide you with the dedication and competent representation that you deserve.
