Sarah & Dawn were lifesavers!

Sarah was my attorney and Dawn was the paralegal. They were incredibly supportive and helpful. They helped me decide almost everything in the divorce case & kept me protected the entire time. They explained things in great detail & were able to answer all my questions anytime I had them. Nothing but ...good things to say about them & biggest thing is DO WHAT THEY SAY! They helped me get divorced and saved me a lot of money during the whole process.

Excellent Family Lawyer

Sarah was a joy to work with on an important legal matter involving my teenage daughter. Sarah explained the process and the rationale of the next steps. She kept the situation for me calm by keeping me informed as the lawsuit progressed. I couldn’t of asked for a better outcome to the lawsuit.

Everything I hoped for when I needed them

I hired Sarah to help me with a divorce that was initiated from me ex. To me it seemed very unusual what was happening but Sarah took the reins and got me through it. I appreciated her very much and would recommend her. Also a bright spot in working with Sarah’s is her paralegal Dawn! For me this was... particularly important and she was incredible! I found what I was looking for when I needed it most.

Thank you for handling a difficult situation with grace. Picking a divorce attorney was not on my bucket list, and even with all the reviews on the internet, finding a good attorney was a tall order. After some googling, I found the website of Coleman, Chambers, and Rogers, LLP, and met with Attor...ney Sarah Richardson Trahan and Paralegal Dawn Smith. My first inclination was to do a DIY no fault divorce, and I was hesitant to hire an attorney. After the initial consultation, I realized quickly that I needed to drop the DIY part. Sarah's and Dawn were able to dot the i's and t's on my specific situation and were with me throughout the entire process. As we were going through the process there were glaring gaps in the paperwork prepared by the other attorney. Sarah and Dawn did a great job of filling in the gaps. I am glad that I found wonderful and compassionate attorney and paralegal. Thank you Sarah and Dawn.

Thankful!

I want to start off by saying we are so thankful for Sarah and her team’s hard work! My husband used Coleman & Chambers for his divorce (from his first wife) and the custody case of his daughter a few years ago. So when we wanted to pursue a stepparent adoption and termination of the biological mot...hers rights, we knew just who to reach out to! When asking Sarah’s advice on how the court date would go, she said (in her experience) the biological mother most likely wouldn’t show up and it should be an easy process. Unfortunately, the biological mother did show up and try to contest. The court nor the biological mother notified us or Sarah of her decision to contest. It took us all by surprise and left us a little worried. However, Sarah did an amazing job at representing us and arguing our case for us! Since we weren’t notified, the judge gave us a short amount of time to come up with a plan to “fight back”. Sarah very quickly came up with a game plan and she was able to argue our case in front of the judge. In the end, the judge ruled in our favor and terminated the biological mothers rights and granted the adoption! He even admitted afterwards, he had thought we were keeping our daughter away from her mother and he was not wanting to take away her rights. However, after hearing our testimonies, seeing the evidence we had, and listening to Sarah’s arguments- he clearly saw where the biological mother had legally abandoned our daughter and that is when he chose to rule in our favor! We would not have been able to achieve this outcome on our own. That makes us extremely grateful for Sarah’s dedication and willingness to fight for us despite the unexpected obstacles along the way! If we ever need any legal assistance in the future, we will definitely be reaching back out to Sarah and her team for their help!
