Biography
Sarah joined Rosenfeld & Rafik as an associate in August 2012 with a particular focus on mental health parity issues in health insurance coverage. Since then, her practice has expanded to representing clients denied individual and group disability, life, and long-term care benefits from private insurance carriers. Prior to joining Rosenfeld & Rafik, Sarah worked under a staff attorney fellowship with the Children's Disability Project in the Health & Disability Unit at Greater Boston Legal Services.
Sarah also represents clients through Health Law Advocates' Pro Bono Legal Network. Sarah is a member of the Massachusetts bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Sarah was named a New England Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2018 & 2019. She is a graduate of Boston College and Northeastern University School of Law.
