Bob McKay Saved My Reputation and Marriage

I work for a large tech firm on the Eastside and have never been in trouble with the law until just recently. While I am happily married, I was going thru a so-called "midlife" crisis and started thinking about how dull my married life was becoming. I saw an online ad for a female "escort" and stupid...ly set up a meeting. When I got to the hotel room, I had $200 in cash in an envelop as directed. The woman was a gorgeous blonde with a Eastern European accent. She said her name was Corinne. She asked if the envelop was for her, and I said it was. When I set it down, she asked me if there was anything "special" that I would like. My response resulted in two uniformed officers coming thru the door and arresting me for Patronizing . Fortunately I was booked and released, so my wife didn't find out. I was in a state of pure panic; would I go to jail? What if someone at work found out? What if my WIFE found out? She'd divorce me in a heartbeat. I was beside myself. Someone told me I'd better get a lawyer, and I found Bob McKay's website. Boy was I lucky. I called him at almost 10 pm expecting to get voicemail, but he answered the phone himself and asked how he could help me. We were probably on the phone for over an hour but he never rushed me or cut me off. He seemed genuinely concerned with helping me. After listening to my story and my concerns, Bob took over. He's very confident and respectful, and uses a sort of understated humor to put your mind at ease and help you keep your perspective. After retaining him by credit card, he told me he'd take care of everything. And that's exactly what he did. First, he contacted the City Prosecutor and discovered I was eligible for a diversion. Second, he went to the Clerk's Office in person and intercepted the summons so it would not go to my home address where my wife would surely read it. Third, he went to Probation and insured that they contact me only thru Bob as counsel of record. No mail would go to my home, and all phone calls would go to my personal cell phone. In the end, Bob set it up so that I only had to go to one appointment with Probation, fulfill some requirements, and my case was successfully diverted and will not appear on my record. I never had to appear in Court just as Bob promised, and my wife never found out about what I had done. Yeah, it cost me some money. But Bob handled it quickly, confidently, and discreetly. He saved me from divorce court and public humiliation. I'd have paid him double, considering the result he achieved for me. I hope I never need Bob's help again. But if you're in trouble with the law, you won't find a more caring, conscientious, and savvy lawyer than Bob McKay.

Not JUST a Lawyer

I am currently a college student about to graduate. When I was in high school, I was charged with several counts of felony Possession of Stolen Property. Although the Prosecutor offered me a deal to a misdemeanor, Mr. McKay advised me not to take it because it might ruin my college plans and my futur...e. He spent alot of time being a "counselor", discussing my family and my future, and giving me very wise advice about making mistakes and overcoming life's obstacles. Mr. McKay was masterful in trial. He got the cops to admit that they had exaggerated and misrepresented what I had told them when I was arrested. The jury was out three hours and I was found "not guilty" on all six counts. I have a great new job lined up once I graduate, and I owe that in large part to Robert McKay. Not just because he was great in trial; but because of his caring, thoughtful, and wise advice as a "counselor" at law. I'd recommend him to anyone charged with a crime.

Just Saying "Thanks"

Back when I was 16, I was arrested for joyriding in a car that a friend from school had stolen from a car lot. I pled guilty and never got into trouble again. Recently I was offered a great new job but I needed to get that old felony conviction off my record. I found Mr. McKay's website--it's an awso...me website--and gave him a call. For a modest fee, and without even having to go to court, he got my conviction expunged and erased from my record in less than a month. Mr. McKay was very cordial and obviously knew what he was doing. I'd recommend him to anyone who has had trouble with the law, past or present.

outstanding

When I found myself in need of a criminal defense attorney, I interviewed several before deciding on Robert Mckay. Within moments, I realized that he was different from all of the rest. Extensive knowledge of the law, years of experience and an unusual insight and compassion into the human condition ...makes him shine above the rest. He is a pleasure to work with. I would never consider retaining anyone else. Robert Mckay is the absolute best in criminal defense.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I've known Robert McKay since back when he had hair. We worked together closely on several cases in the 1990's. I whole-heartedly endorse him as a superb lawyer and a fine human being. I confess that Robert had several qualities that annoyed me. One, he is wise and has excellent judgment. Two, he is ingenious at spotting issues and weaknesses in his opponent's position. Juries like and respect him which is unsurprising because he is well-regarded by his peers, opposing counsel and by judges. Finally, he is a skilled advocate that works exceptionally hard for his clients. He stays abreast of changes in his field and importantly, he keeps his trial skills sharp. Lastly, and for all the reasons previously stated, he is effective which means he consistently gets excellent results for his clients. You probably won't see him on CNN but you ought to. "
