Federal criminal cases are extremely difficult to win. Many good trial attorneys, attorneys who regularly get acquittals in state court, have never gotten an acquittal or a dismissal with prejudice in federal court. Acquittals in federal court are as rare as hen’s teeth. Attorneys who've gotten an acquittal in federal criminal court are in the 1% club. I have multiple acquittals and dismissals with prejudice in federal court.

I got myself caught up in a drug conspiracy case in Federal court back in 1998. He was appointed to me by the court. I was thinking about hiring another lawyer because I was afraid that a court appointed one wouldn't work as hard for me. When I asked around, I was told by multiple people that I could...

Bob Leen... Where do I start? First of all, I have to say - if you are looking for an attorney that will sugar coat things to make you feel better he is not the one! Bob Leen does not play, he will be straight forward with you even if the outcome is not what you want to hear, but he will do what he c...

I needed an lawyer to help me with a property dispute. Robert came highly recommended. My husband and I met with him, agreed on a plan of action, and he was able to resolve the matter with a phone call and a couple of emails. Payment was reasonable. I would recommend him to my friends!
"I endorse this lawyer. In my 40 years of practice and having tried over a hundred trials, I consider Bob Leen the finest trial lawyer I ever litigated against"
"Bob is a committed and hard working criminal defense attorney. He has excellent communication skills, he is a great presence with a jury, and he has the respect of his colleagues as well as the judiciary. I highly recommend Bob."
"Bob Leen is a fantastic attorney. I got to know Bob when I was a prosecutor. I always worked extra hard on his cases because I knew he was going to find every possible way to help his client and he always did. I appreciated his hard work and his creativity so much that when I opened my own practice I sought him out for advice. Indeed, I continue to seek advice from Bob because he is so knowledgeable. I could not give a lawyer higher recommendation."
"Bob looks much more distinguished in person than the photo he's posted. And he is, despite the ridiculously contrived and absurd Avvo rating, among the top 3-4 criminal defense lawyers in Western Washington. If you were to ask his fellow attorneys or his clients, they'd tell you that. Bob's excellent results in both state and federal court are reknown to those of us who work with him in the criminal justice system. He has probably forgotten more about criminal trial work than I will ever know, and I've been around this business for 18 years now. Please, do NOT consider this referral "rating" system when you consider hiring Bob Leen to represent you. You can't evaluate a fine criminal defense lawyer like Bob with "points"; it's a disservice to the public and a disservice to Bob. I've referred many clients I personally could not help to Bob Leen and will continue to do so. And if I were ever charged with a serious crime, Bob is one of the few attorneys I'd consider hiring to represent me."
