Bob Leen is an extremely good litigator

I got myself caught up in a drug conspiracy case in Federal court back in 1998. He was appointed to me by the court. I was thinking about hiring another lawyer because I was afraid that a court appointed one wouldn't work as hard for me. When I asked around, I was told by multiple people that I could...n't get a better lawyer if I paid for one so I took a chance. Simply put, Bob is a straight savage in the court room. He is sharp as a tac. Nothing gets past him, and he is very shrewd. I took my case to trial, Bob got me a hung jury. Federal cases are almost impossible to win at trial, but he saved me from a very long prison sentence. He won't lie to you, and will not sugar coat your circumstances. He's tough on the prosecutor, even pissed off the lead prosecutor Jerry Diskin with his legal maneuvering. I have to thank him on behalf of my wife and my kids for fighting as hard as he did. He's every bit as good as Bob Shapiro.

Where do I start...

Bob Leen... Where do I start? First of all, I have to say - if you are looking for an attorney that will sugar coat things to make you feel better he is not the one! Bob Leen does not play, he will be straight forward with you even if the outcome is not what you want to hear, but he will do what he c...an to make bad situation good! He is all business, and definitely a professional! Most of all he is a fighter and is willing to fight for his client. Bob has represented myself and several people I know and won cases or came to an agreement. He's sharp at what he does, and he is a very well known lawyer in town. I am very fortunate to know I could always pick my phone up and ring Bob if I have any type of law questions that needs to be answered. I would highly recommend Bob Leen to represent you in your case!

Experienced, Dedicated, Trustworthy- Highly Recommended

I was referred to Mr. Leen because he is the best in the business and truly dedicated his time and effort into my case. He thoroughly explained the proceedings and I appreciated his quick response in getting back to me with regular updates. He is passionate, dedicated, determined and disciplined in h...is craft. It is these qualities that are essential in the field of law and can be the deciding factor that determines the outcome of a case. I would highly recommend anyone who needs an attorney to contact Mr. Leen.

Amazing Attorney

I needed an lawyer to help me with a property dispute. Robert came highly recommended. My husband and I met with him, agreed on a plan of action, and he was able to resolve the matter with a phone call and a couple of emails. Payment was reasonable. I would recommend him to my friends!

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"Bob Leen is a fantastic attorney. I got to know Bob when I was a prosecutor. I always worked extra hard on his cases because I knew he was going to find every possible way to help his client and he always did. I appreciated his hard work and his creativity so much that when I opened my own practice I sought him out for advice. Indeed, I continue to seek advice from Bob because he is so knowledgeable. I could not give a lawyer higher recommendation."

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Bob looks much more distinguished in person than the photo he's posted. And he is, despite the ridiculously contrived and absurd Avvo rating, among the top 3-4 criminal defense lawyers in Western Washington. If you were to ask his fellow attorneys or his clients, they'd tell you that. Bob's excellent results in both state and federal court are reknown to those of us who work with him in the criminal justice system. He has probably forgotten more about criminal trial work than I will ever know, and I've been around this business for 18 years now. Please, do NOT consider this referral "rating" system when you consider hiring Bob Leen to represent you. You can't evaluate a fine criminal defense lawyer like Bob with "points"; it's a disservice to the public and a disservice to Bob. I've referred many clients I personally could not help to Bob Leen and will continue to do so. And if I were ever charged with a serious crime, Bob is one of the few attorneys I'd consider hiring to represent me."

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2005.

Reciprocal - Public Reprimand issued in FL, 2005

updated on 03/31/2016

This means the attorney did something wrong in another state, but can still practice law in Florida. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Robert’s comment:

“I have always been a member in good standing of the Florida bar and take full responsibility for my mistake. The event that led to this reprimand arose over 20 years ago, in 1995.”

Reciprocal - Reprimand issued in GA, 2005

updated on 03/31/2016

This means that the attorney's misconduct in another state, or jurisdiction, also violated the rules for practicing law in Georgia.

Robert’s comment:

“I have always been a member in good standing of the Georgia bar and take full responsibility for my mistake. The event that led to this reprimand arose over 20 years ago, in 1995.”

Reprimand issued in WA, 2004

updated on 03/25/2016

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Robert’s comment:

“I have always been a member in good standing of the Washington State bar and take full responsibility for my mistake. The event that led to this reprimand arose over 20 years ago, in 1995.”
