Peter Lawrence Maier

I came to Peter distraught confused under pressure from the dealership who was in his words " Grossly Negligent " Peter was direct to the point and when I git off topic he stopped me and brought me back to the issue at hand. When he finished collecting his evidence and the verbal details behind each ...instance he opened the floor for emotional imput and impact. He took everything into consideration including our personal finances careers and goals. He is 100% the lawyer you want when going against a big Corporation even one who has been in operation for 30+ years. He tells you what infractions were made by the dealership and how to respond to them or how to not respond. The way he collects his case is the way he provides advice and direction. He isnt the one who will offer a hug or emotional response but HE IS THE DAVID YOU WANT WHEN FIGHTING GOLLIATH.

I was referred to this "gentleman" by another attorney I had used and liked. I called him today about a possible legal action on a new vehicle purchase gone awry. This guy was extremely impatient and would not let me finish a sentence from the word "go." I quickly realized we would have personal...ity conflicts and terminated the conversation. REALLY, REALLY bad first impression from this dude. Why would I want him representing me when he shows so little respect and not allow me to speak in complete sentences?

I emailed Peter on a Sunday about a new car purchase which had gone awry: the car wouldn't start and the seller's roadside assistance program had not been effective in removing the car from our garage so that it could be towed to a repair shop for a diagnosis. I needed to know asap what my options w...ere, including whether I should stop payment on the check purchasing the car or continue to deal with a company bureaucracy which had not been very responsive. I received an email from Peter that same night arranging to discuss the situation first thing on Monday morning. On Monday morning, Peter asked me incisive questions so he could be sure he understood the facts, then carefully analyzed the law and laid out my options, including his recommendation about the best course of action under the circumstances. He also made it very clear that he would be available to provide further assistance if I wasn't able to resolve the situation myself. Confident in my approach, I was able to quickly convince the car seller that it needed to go the extra mile to get me the assistance I needed. The car was soon out of my garage and the problem, which proved to be a minor computer glitch, was diagnosed and corrected; the company apologized and provided commensurate compensation for our inconvenience. We are very grateful for Peter's timely and effective assistance!
