Paula S. Morrell

Attorney Paula Morrell was my attorney on a 2 YEAR child custody and support case. She secured the future of my son. She went above and beyond, not only with her legal expertise but also with her care and support during a very difficult time for my family and I. She was with me EVERY step of the way ...and was an advocate for my family to the fullest with our best interest as her top priority. I can not say enough awesome words about Attorney Paula Morrell and how she handled my divorce! After being served divorce papers at my job, I contacted her to handle my case because the law firm specializes in family law. My case also had domestic abuse present and I have three kids so it was no ea...sy matter. The other side kept changing lawyers, filing false motions, wouldn't turn in documents requested in a timely manner, and just plain wasted my time that left me frustrated. Attorney Morrell guided me through the entire two year event and kept me calm and patient. Attorney Morrell was always on time, let me know when I had to be present in court or not, gave me her honest opinion and helped my chose the direction that was best for me. Attorney Morrell communicated effectively and promptly. Due to my schedule, emails were best for me but if I needed to have a phone or in person conference she was there. My divorce ended with trial because at mediation my ex-husband's demands were just ridiculous. And she stuck with me when I refused to do future mediations with his new lawyer and his same demands. During my trial, Attorney Morrell was well organized and came prepared for anything. During the break, she coached me and my witnesses and made us at ease. She was ready for any and everything that the opposing counsel would try to throw our way. As of 2/16/18, I am the happiest divorced lady I know! Attorney Morrell got 99% of my demands met! Who could ask for anything more?!? The judge's exact words were, "Were are going to follow the respondent's request for final judgement except..." Attorney Morrell helped me come out on top of the trial by being able to help me tell my truths! I hugged her five times afterwards. This is my second time hiring Paula as my attorney; once for divorce, and second for relocation with children. I have been very satisfied both times and received my recent relocation after a very difficult relocation trial! I hired Ms. Silva for my divorce case in 2015, and am very pleased with the outcome she helped provide. Ms. Silva is very good at taking in all of the information you provide, including what your desired outcome is, and presenting your best case. She didn't promise that everything would go exactly ...the way I wanted it to, but looked into everything to determine what was realistic. She is also a wonderful blend of aggressive, yet not inflammatory. When opposing council attempted to make confrontational situations she stepped in to a) resolve the situation, and b) let them know that they and their client were being unrealistic and incendiary. This happened while still being clear and firm about where we stood on custody expectations.
