Well, Paula fell for every trick in this woman's book. In front of the judges, Paula was timid and too polite next ...to a lawyer whose main form of argument was volume. It would have been nice to have Paula turn to that other lawyer and ask her to be quiet. But not once. By the time the opposing counsel's rant ended, the judge had already shut down. What a waste of time and money. Most of this expense and frustration could have been avoided by being more assertive. If you just need paperwork processed, Paula will be fine. If you need a strong advocate in front of a judge, find the best connected lawyer you can. Nice and qualified attorneys in DELCO courts are a waste since most judges are predisposed to treat their contributors and allies with favor. Go with the attorney with the best connections and biggest mouth.
