Alexander Suslensky spent many years working as an attorney at large New York City law firms. Mr. Suslensky enjoyed the high level of service provided at these firms, but he was frustrated with too many instances of inefficiency, over-billing and little concern about clients’ needs. As a result, in 2002, he formed the Law Firm of Alexander Suslensky, P.C. Given Mr. Suslensky’s experience and dedication to his clients, the firm is able to provide service that’s on par with large firms but is also available to individuals at reasonable prices. Mr. Suslensky has served on the NYC Bar Association Committee on Cooperative and Condominium Law as Chairman of its Subcommittee on Forms and Subcommittee on Offering Plans. He has been featured frequently in The New York Times Real Estate Section and has presented many lectures on real estate law at the New York County Lawyers’ Association and other venues. Professional, honest and competent.
I hired Mr. Suslensky to represent me in the sale of my coop. Quite a complicated sale as I was an overseas owner. I gave him power of attorney in order to complete the closing. The enire transaction went smoothly. Excellent communication and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done. He ...

Reliable, full of integrity
I recently hired Alex's services (again) to represent the sale of a co-op. I appreciate the fact that Alex have all the process in-place the moment the deal sheet was issued. Throughout the contract negotiation, Alex was patient with all of my questions, and explained to me what is common practice an...

Outstanding Service- Top notch and professional!
my deal between the lender and the sponsor was at a STOP with no way out- and Alexander went the extra mile and made the deal happen single-handed. Also, he responds to every email on the same day, if not within the hour and represents HSBC as a lender making life much easier

Excellent Law Firm
We were very happy with the services provided by the Law Firm of Alexander Suslensky, P.C. Alex responded immediately during our first call and respected our phone appointment when receiving other calls. He laid out the building details point by point in a clear experienced manner. His opinions and...

Highly dishonest
Mr.Suslensky was my RE attorney when I was purchasing my first two co-ops. He did not tell me that on one of them the flip tax was 50%, and in the other one there was a leak in kitchen shortly before closing and he didn't tell me to do a walk-thru - all that because he wanted to get his closing fees,...
The posting by “Natasha” was written by a former client who was disgruntled because we would not help her defraud a lender. We had represented “Natasha” on a purchase of an apartment that she claimed to buy for use as a primary residence. It was an ordinary transaction and we completed it successfully. There is absolutely no truth to “Natasha’s” claims about the flip tax or walk-through issues as we have saved e-mails informing her of these and other issues. Apparently, she was satisfied with our service and retained us for a purchase of a second apartment. On the second transaction, we noticed that she was misrepresenting to and defrauding the lender by claiming that the second apartment was also her primary residence, as opposed to telling the truth that it was investment property. Lenders charge a higher interest rate for investment property than primary residences. We advised her that this was misrepresentation and fraud, and that we did not want any part of it. We told her that we could not continue to represent her if she insisted misrepresenting to and defrauding the lender. She insisted on maintaining her fraudulent scheme and at that point we terminated our representation of her. This made her very angry and she threatened to “post negative reviews all over the internet” unless we continued to represent her and participate in her fraudulent scheme. We refused. As a result, she has posted this false and malicious review. Since we started our firm in 2002, we have closed approximately 4,000 transactions, many of which were for repeat clients. Of course, it’s sad to see one person who provides a false and malicious review, but the numerous compliments and repeat clients we have tells us that we are doing a great job for our clients.
"I endorse this lawyer. Alex has created a powerhouse law firm in New York's fast paced real estate market. Time and time again, he is involved in complex property transactions and takes the time and energy needed to make sure his client's positions are covered. There's nobody better in NY real estate than Alex."
