Peter Alfred Basso

Peter A. Basso is a co-founder of Basso & Khare LLC. He represents employees in employment negotiations, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Basso’s cases include matters involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; breach of contract; executive compensation; non-compete and non-solicit clauses; unpaid wages and benefits; and whistleblowers. Mr. Basso also counsels small businesses, entrepreneurs and start-ups as well as nonprofit organizations in complying with their employment obligations and instituting best practices for managing personnel. Since founding Basso & Khare, Mr. Basso has cultivated a growing practice focused on helping nonprofit organizations and community groups in formation, seeking tax exemption under § 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, State and federal compliance issues, and Board governance.
