Whoever said all these negative reviews are vindictive people? Not the case, hoping to warn others before they make the mistake of hiring her too. Nearly impossible to get her on the phone, files court papers late, tells me I will "probably" win court costs, when I later found that happens almost ne...ver. 2 minutes into the proceeding the judge was admonishing her. My ex didn't even have a lawyer and I feel like I just paid $6500 for someone to hold my hand and put on a "b**ch on wheels" show! In the end I could have accomplished what was ordered without her help. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Please take time to read the negative reviews this attorney has received and understand that they are 100 percent spot on. She is unethical - period. I cannot stress this enough. She is NEVER reachable when you need her to be. Her advice is abhorrent. Her fees will leave you in debt and are abso...lutely not supportable by her. Please do not use her - even if you get her name from a friend. As I learned, other attorneys may be aware of her but not how she practices and your friends will end up feeling horrible they referred you to her. As several other attorneys I have spoken to have now described her, she is the "worst of the worst". She has no business in matrimonal law. Several things are certain if you hire her - she will make your divorce far more acrimonial than it needs to be, she will leave you penniless, she will not follow Court rules and you will pay the price, and she will ensure that what is probably an extremely low point in your life is lowered to a depth you did not know was possible. DO NOT USE her.

Retained Michelle on a recommendation after my first attorney had to leave the case. First attorney did most of the ground work. Michelle Went thru 5,000 retainer and I never once received an itemized bill from her - even when I asked. She wrote letters for everything, but nothing was ever accompl...ished. She wasn't working for me or representing me - rather herself. She told Me one thing and then in court changed Her mind and I had no time to decide what to do. She seemed overly frustrated all the time. She did try to appease me once or twice. But the bottom is - one year and 12,000 later - I am still not divorced ...but legally separated. I am paying rediculousness amounts of money that I cannot afford. I lost everything and she did nothing for me. She didn't want me to go to trial. But now I see why .......because she wanted to Bill me and if we went to trial she would have had to wait to Bill me. Horrible incompetent would not refer her to anyone.

I am not one to leave negative reviews unless I am deeply troubled by an experience. However, I feel it is my moral responsibility to warn other potential clients of Michelle Verno before they make the same mistake I did. She is horrible. She doesn't return any phone calls, is impossible to get in t...ouch with and does the absolute bare minimum as an attorney. My ex-husband's attorney did 95%of the work and charged him only 200 dollars more than she charged me. He was easily accessible and guided my ex husband during the whole process. Not the case with Michelle. I might as well have represented myself. I considered firing her at one point but I felt as though we were too far into the process to do so. So I'm hoping that I will save others the grief and anxiety that I experienced from using her as my attorney .

Do not hire her. She is a horrible lawyer. I have been fighting for custody for 2 and half years. She has done nothing for my case but lost me all my custody rights. she is a liar and manipulator condescending. she handled my case like s*** and took all my money. you can never get ahold of her. she n...ever called you back he doesn't give you information on the cases or explain to you what's going on with your case you pretty much going to court looking stupid in front of a judge because you have no idea what is going on she is a fraud and she is not a good attorney and she has been turned into the board of effects take your money and find a good lawyer
