Retained Michelle on a recommendation after my first attorney had to leave the case. First attorney did most of the ground work. Michelle Went thru 5,000 retainer and I never once received an itemized bill from her - even when I asked. She wrote letters for everything, but nothing was ever accompl...ished. She wasn't working for me or representing me - rather herself. She told Me one thing and then in court changed Her mind and I had no time to decide what to do. She seemed overly frustrated all the time. She did try to appease me once or twice. But the bottom is - one year and 12,000 later - I am still not divorced ...but legally separated. I am paying rediculousness amounts of money that I cannot afford. I lost everything and she did nothing for me. She didn't want me to go to trial. But now I see why .......because she wanted to Bill me and if we went to trial she would have had to wait to Bill me. Horrible incompetent would not refer her to anyone.

I am not one to leave negative reviews unless I am deeply troubled by an experience. However, I feel it is my moral responsibility to warn other potential clients of Michelle Verno before they make the same mistake I did. She is horrible. She doesn't return any phone calls, is impossible to get in t...ouch with and does the absolute bare minimum as an attorney. My ex-husband's attorney did 95%of the work and charged him only 200 dollars more than she charged me. He was easily accessible and guided my ex husband during the whole process. Not the case with Michelle. I might as well have represented myself. I considered firing her at one point but I felt as though we were too far into the process to do so. So I'm hoping that I will save others the grief and anxiety that I experienced from using her as my attorney .

Do not hire her. She is a horrible lawyer. I have been fighting for custody for 2 and half years. She has done nothing for my case but lost me all my custody rights. she is a liar and manipulator condescending. she handled my case like s*** and took all my money. you can never get ahold of her. she n...ever called you back he doesn't give you information on the cases or explain to you what's going on with your case you pretty much going to court looking stupid in front of a judge because you have no idea what is going on she is a fraud and she is not a good attorney and she has been turned into the board of effects take your money and find a good lawyer

Nothing special about my divorce case (Nov, 2009 to PRESENT), NO children, NO property, NO monies, NO nothing.... SHE has done nothing for my case. My future EX is getting away with everything, SHE DOES NOT RETURN CALLS, MSSGS, DOES NOT ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS, YOUR FILE SITS COLLECTING DUST... ONE ...of many times Michele or her asst did NOT returned my calls asking when was my court date..., I was obligated to call the court clerk and ask myself--- her immediate response was, "Michele Verno is a waste of air....". Need I say more?!?, I fired her two weeks ago, my donation (retainer over $3,000) to her was a lost/waste, now looking for new representation.

Doesnt return phone calls. Doesnt explain court proceedings. Tells you one thing she is going to do and then in court changes her mind leaving you with no time to think or react. Works intimidating her clients. Her charges are extremely high. Goes through the retainer money that is about $3000.00 i...n administrative charges. DOESNT complete her WORK that you paid for. Charges about $45.00 (copies etc) for every piece of mail you will recieve.
