I should have investigated and find some reviews before hiring her for my house closing. I just went by the recommendation of Realtor and ended up in worst nightmare anyone can have when buying a property. As it is mentioned by other person here , may be people only review when they have bad exp...erience 1. Works against you ( in favor of the Seller in my case ) 2. Does not Fight for you , nor even helps to reach to a fair decision. 3. Just works for her fees only and does not even bother to respond in case you need to make decision based on response of other side. 4. Simply agrees to what other side Lawyer and Client.

Our experience was great. Ms. Polcari really knows R.E. law and kept us informed throughout the deal. She was always available to talk on the phone or returned our calls the same day. We had a few problem issues with the Seller and Ms. Polcari worked hard to get our closing done on our closing date. ...We would recommend this lawyer to all.

Meryl was our attorney in a house closing. As we are not lawyers and don't recognize the lingo, we expected her to alert us to things that were in the builder contract that would be 'bad' for us. She did not alert us and she didn't fight for us when it became an issue. We bought a house from Ren...naisance the builder and she seemed to be 'in' with the builder - no proof of course - but she usually replied to our requests with, oh from her experience the builder won't go for that - and felt like the builder's lawyer instead of ours. We ended up paying additional for what wasn't our fault (i.e mortgage came in late because of Bank , but we were charged for it because of the shoddy contract). She is fine if you just need a secretary to make edits based on your thinking - but not as a lawyer who can provide added value.
