I called Mr.Guralnick at his New Jersey (Cherry Hill office) The call was answer by a very polite receptionist, I left a message for Mr.Guralnick, asking for his help regarding a possible emergency custody of my daughter. Within a few hours Mr.Guralnick, had returned my call. I had explained my dir...e situation to him, and how dire the situation was, not only did he take the time to listen to me, he gave me a free consultation. And while he did not promise anything. He did assure me that he would do his best to help save my daughter. He had advised me that he was not in the state at the time due to a prior case that he was working on. However, he had a great staff that he would personally guide through the case. And that they did, One of the lawyers from the Law Firm contacted me soon after for setup a day and time for me to come into the office to speak and go over the case. That was within the week. A lawyer from the firm had sat with me and explained every step that would be taken and answered any and all questions I had asked. Even addressed the emotional side of the situation. He also assured me that he would also do his best and that Mr.Guralnick, himself was personally working with him on the case on an hour to hour basis. Soon after, we had filed for emergency custody, and went to court, (We had met at the court house early to review the process.) I was so nervous, again I was assured that everything will be handled. And it was, The Superior Court of New Jersey had ruled in favor of the emergency custody order! Finally my daughter was safe. Tears came to my eye as i think Mr.Guralnik's staff. That was just the first step that Mr.Guralnick, his staff and I had taken together. The next step was to gather information and file for Physical and Legal custody. This would ensue that my daughter would remain in my care, in a safe and loving environment. So we filed for that also. About a month later we were in court again and the same comfort and assurance was given again. Once again, the courts had ruled in our favor. My heart was put at ease. It was a moment I will never forget. I know I could not have protected my daughter without the help of Mr.Guralnick and his staff. While I am a great father. I am not a great lawyer like Mr.Guralnick. My prayers had been answered. I commend and thank them all not only for doing the best they could. Mark Gurlanick was a godsend in my custody case. My son's emotionally abusive father was suing me for full custody. I was alone in New Jersey, without friends or family and desperate for freedom for myself and for my child. My case was inter-state and complex. But this is the kind of thing Mark s...pecializes in. He was incredibly accessible, always returned phone calls and emails in a timely manner and really stayed on top of my case, advocating for me and for my son, through the end. The outcome was favorable, as I remain the sole custodian of my son. I cannot thank Mark enough for his tireless efforts on our behalf. He is an excellent attorney and I would recommend him to anyone going through a marital dissolution or whose case is involved in family court.

I retained this attorney's services in January 2012 for a child support modification hearing scheduled in PA on January 19, 2012. Mr. Guralnick was referred to me by the Bucks County Bar Association in PA. Mr. Guralnick sent me a contract to sign and I paid a $2500 retainer fee upfront. My firs...t communication from his firm was not by him, but by one of his associates, a Mr. Terrence Annese /Esquire who called to inform me the conference was rescheduled to March 2, 2012. No further communication during this period other than this information. On March 2, 2012, I waited all day for the conference call that never came. When I called the firm to find out what happened, Mr Annese informed me my ex had withdrawn her motion to modify and it was cancelled. I was never notified of this by his firm. I instructed Mr. Annese to get the case rescheduled and he said he'd call me back that day. 3 weeks went by with no call back. In the 4th week, I called Mr. Annese and was advised by his secretary that he was no longer with the firm! I was shocked no one from Guralnick's firm notified me of this by phone, email or correspondence! I asked who was representing my case and the secretary advised she didn't know but would have Mr. Guralnick call me back. A week passed with no response. I made daily attempts to contact the office with no success. Finally in week two, I spoke with Mr. Guralnick who told me "not to worry" that he was going to file the remodification I requested Mr. Annese to do, but then he said he could not find the paperwork relating to my case! He asked if I could send everything again and when he received it he would email me the remodification paperwork by the end of the week that I would need to complete and return in order for him to file it with the court. I faxed the paperwork the following day, however, I did not receive the paperwork Mr. Guralnick said he'd send by the end of the week. I called the office continually the following week with NO response, and called every day the week after that, again, NO response. Everytime I called I was informed Mr. Guralnick was out of the office or unavailable. My final call to his office was when I was told again (after 3 weeks!) that Mr. Guralnick was still unavailable or out of the office and informed the secretary I had enough and no longer wanted Mr. Guralnick or anyone in his firm to represent me, he was fired, and to return my retainer. Interesting, TEN MINUTES after that call, the secretary called me back to advise that those documents would be sent to me by the end of the week. I told her "NO THANKS!" and to just send my retainer back. That was the last communication I had with that office and to date have not received any type of refund from Mr. Guralnick. I paid $2500 for gross negligence but my efforts will continue to recoop those funds through whatever means are necessary starting with the Disciplinary Board. I highly discourage anyone from using this attorney for any legal matter. Very frustrating - and in my opinion, highly unethical practice.
