Mark S Guralnick

Domestic Violence -- you hear about it every day, but you don't expect it to hit home. But it did, it hit my home! To be exact, my boyfriend hit ME in the face at my home. And in a matter of minutes, I found myself injured, and I saw my boyfriend being carted off by the police. My children were hyst...erical, and our lives were turned upside down. Let me tell you, I would not have emerged from this situation with any sanity at all if it weren't for Mark Guralnick. Mark gave me immediate advice on how to handle the police, the courts, the custody and support situation that followed and all of the incidental issues. I could have very well become a basket case at any moment because this was a very emotional situation. But Mark Guralnick kept me on track. He focused me on my children, my health, my responsibilities, my obligations. He kept me fully informed about how the domestic violence court procedures would work. Some lawyers are all business, but I believe Mark has a real interest in making sure his clients succeed. He is my guiding light.

Mark S. Guralnick and his law firm managed to dissect a very complicated child custody case for me, on very short notice, and led me to victory on all counts. My ex-husband and I have been in a bitter custody dispute for a long time. Our fight involves visitation hours, improper sleeping arrangements..., conflicts between the children, family therapy issues, reimbursement of medical expenses, request for mandatory parenting classes, and the involvement of child protective services, a child with mental illness and other questions. Like I said, this was a complicated case. The Guralnick firm attacked it head-on, calling me at day and at night and gathering all the information that was needed to prepare for court. We were successful in front of the judge, but in my opinion, that's because the lawyers were extremely well-prepared, armed with the evidence and ready to do battle when we got to the courtroom.

I'm not saying anything that hasn't been said before about him, but Mark S. Guralnick is the complete deal! He definitely knows what he's doing when it comes to children, parents rights and children's rights. Mark also gives me complete and thorough information so that I am fully protected in any... courtroom battle. I have consulted him on adoption law, custody law, guardianship issues and child support. In my opinion, he deserves the highest rating because he is exactly what a lawyer is supposed tp be -- knowledgeable, thorough, and available to me.

Until I consulted with Mark, I was headed in the wrong direction in my child custody and child support case. In the Florida courts, men are not always given a fair shake. Mark gave me some very good advice and helped me to develop a solid strategy to increase the amount of time I spend with my son, a...nd to stabilize the amount of money I am required to pay his mother. This was very important to me because I always made a major wrong move that could have doomed my chances. I'm very glad I took the time to consult with Mark. Not only did he steer me in the right direction, but he restored my faith in my dignity as a father and in my rights in the court system.

I called Mr.Guralnick at his New Jersey (Cherry Hill office) The call was answer by a very polite receptionist, I left a message for Mr.Guralnick, asking for his help regarding a possible emergency custody of my daughter. Within a few hours Mr.Guralnick, had returned my call. I had explained my dir...e situation to him, and how dire the situation was, not only did he take the time to listen to me, he gave me a free consultation. And while he did not promise anything. He did assure me that he would do his best to help save my daughter. He had advised me that he was not in the state at the time due to a prior case that he was working on. However, he had a great staff that he would personally guide through the case. And that they did, One of the lawyers from the Law Firm contacted me soon after for setup a day and time for me to come into the office to speak and go over the case. That was within the week. A lawyer from the firm had sat with me and explained every step that would be taken and answered any and all questions I had asked. Even addressed the emotional side of the situation. He also assured me that he would also do his best and that Mr.Guralnick, himself was personally working with him on the case on an hour to hour basis. Soon after, we had filed for emergency custody, and went to court, (We had met at the court house early to review the process.) I was so nervous, again I was assured that everything will be handled. And it was, The Superior Court of New Jersey had ruled in favor of the emergency custody order! Finally my daughter was safe. Tears came to my eye as i think Mr.Guralnik's staff. That was just the first step that Mr.Guralnick, his staff and I had taken together. The next step was to gather information and file for Physical and Legal custody. This would ensue that my daughter would remain in my care, in a safe and loving environment. So we filed for that also. About a month later we were in court again and the same comfort and assurance was given again. Once again, the courts had ruled in our favor. My heart was put at ease. It was a moment I will never forget. I know I could not have protected my daughter without the help of Mr.Guralnick and his staff. While I am a great father. I am not a great lawyer like Mr.Guralnick. My prayers had been answered. I commend and thank them all not only for doing the best they could.
