Jeffrey Ira Katzelnick

I hired Jeffrey Katzelnick to represent me in a divorce settlement. He was argumentative and antagonistic at every turn, as if we were adversaries rather than on the same team. He had already charged me for evaluating the settlement proposal when I fired him. But he refused to turn over any work prod...uct, claiming it was confidential.

Mr. Katzelnick in Westfield, NJ represented me in a complicated divorce and child custody/support case. I can not say enough good things about him. He was always professional, hard working, knowledgeable and fair. I was able to focus on creating a new, stable home life for my children while he han...dled the legalities. I appreciated that he never encouraged animosity between the parties and focused on what was best for my family. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Katzelnick was responsive and seemed to be a decent person. However, as an advocate for me he was not very good and just kept billing me. Somehow, he found the time to bill me for emails and phone calls but not enough time to actually listen, read or respond ot my messages. He did not catch ke...y typos in the divorce agreement, did not catch errors in dates, and did not inform me of ramification of some issues. I repeatedly haad to suggest more safeguards into the agreement after doing my own reserch. If you are in a difficlt divorce - and who isn'? - Mr. Katzelnick does not advocate for your position storng enough.
