Hired him for a house purchase. I think I talked to him twice and the rest of the time I was trying to get an answer from either his paralegal or his secretary and neither would get back to me. I think he needs to wrap it up as apparently he forgot he is suppose to advocate for his client not the o...ther way around. There are literally hundreds of better attorneys out their then this fossil. Had to switch attorneys due to his negligence.

I wouldn't recommend James Ofner to anyone. He was my divorce attorney just recently and ended up doing more harm then good. He made me plead guilty in court to things I didn't do and it cost me more money and probation. His office spent numerous times on the phone with my Ex wife and they had the... balls charge me for giving her advice against me. There is much more, but I wouldn't recommend his office to my worst enemy. His secretary is also a tool and quite unhelpful. The final straw with them was not honoring prices previously agreed upon.

I would highly recommend Jim. He has handled house closings,wills and divorce for me. The most recent was the closing on a house I was buying. It was a difficult sale and he, along with his secretary Annette, handled it ably to the positive outcome. For him it is not about the money, it is about the... client. He is a compassionate, caring man and Annette is wonderful! I never had to wait for an answer on anything! He is the only lawyer I have ever hired and will ever hire.
