Shauna Squires-Tapp

Attorney Shauna Squires-Tapp is a managing partner of the Law Office of Peace & Squires, PLLC. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2002. Shortly thereafter, upon graduating from law school, she became a licensed attorney in the state of North Carolina in 2002.

Attorney Squires-Tapp earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude, in History from North Carolina Central University in 1999. Throughout her undergraduate tenure, she was a member of Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society, Pi Gamma Mu Honor Society, Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society, and Golden Key National Honour Society. She was also honored as a University Scholar and received an Outstanding Community Service Award.

Attorney Squires-Tapp has 20 years of experience in practicing law. She is authorized to practice in North Carolina State Court and Middle Federal District Court. Her areas of concentration are Business, Contracts, and Personal Injury Law. As a result of her remarkable experience and client-focused approach, she has an established history, which proves her ability to provide excellent and zealous representation to clients.

Attorney Squires-Tapp is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and 16th Judicial District Bar. She was an Adjunct Professor for the Criminal Litigation Clinic and Civil Litigation Clinic at North Carolina Central University School of Law. She was also a Defense Attorney for Family Drug Treatment Court for Durham County.

Attorney Squires-Tapp is a proud native of Durham, North Carolina. She is married and has three children. During her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys participating in various outreach initiatives to improve the lives of others.
