No justice

Judge Fleet was lying in her decision about facts of the case. It feels it’s a common practice- bar didn’t do anything even all facts were presented. Obviously justice just for those who can pay hundreds thousands of dollars

Awful.

She is now a district judge in Mecklenburg County....she has no business being in law! She should be barred from practicing especially as a judge.

Horrible judge

I had an eviction case in front of Judge Fleet, and it was honestly a pretty clear-cut situation. The lease specifically said that I didn’t need to give a 10-day notice before starting the eviction, but she still dismissed the case like that clause didn’t exist. The same case also involved a TRO (...Temporary Restraining Order) that she correctly dissolved because the tenant never posted the required bond. But she didn’t upload the order for almost 30 days. Then when the case came back up, she seemed to forget she had already dissolved the TRO and just dismissed everything. That mix-up caused a lot of unnecessary problems for me. I talked to three lawyers —every single one of them said she was wrong and that this should’ve been a straightforward case. Based on this experience, I really don’t think she should be on the bench, and I hope she doesn’t get re-elected. We need judges who actually pay attention and follow the law.

Unlawful District Judge Fleet

Judge Fleet is an honorable district judge in mecklenburg county court. She should have known well her maximum judgement she can order is $25,000. But unethically unlawfully she signed ordered a judgement of $275,000. She should be removed from being a judge. She is not a fair judge and seemed she h...as her personal anti-asian

Terribly Unprofessional, Unprepared & Unpleasant

We witnessed this "judge" in the Charlotte Mecklenburg County courtroom to be totally unprofessional & unprepared and outright rude. She yelled to the entire courtroom she was "behind on the cases for the day, hadn't had a lunch & her back hurt". She had to excuse herself to go to the bathroom. ...This was at 2pm. She hadn't looked at any of the cases in advance, kept forgetting to "swear people in", gave confusing, incomplete & incoherent instructions to the parties involved. People kept asking her to clarify which made it worse. The defendants and plaintiffs were instructed to ask each other questions with little direction from this judge. They basically had to execute their own cases with no direction from Jennifer Fleet which lead long delays. She's a new judge but is clearly overwhelmed, unprepared and impatient.
