I have a business background, having managed a marketing firm. I built my private law practice on advising small businesses. Having had to "make payroll" in my own business, I understand first-hand the special problems facing small business owners. Many of my bankruptcy clients are current and former small business owners who struggled through the most recent devastating economy. I've worked with them to gain a fresh start.

I am married and have three children, 23, 10 and 6.  I love spending time with my family and friends. In addition to serving my clients, I like to be involved with my kids' activities, church and professional and community organizations.  It requires a great deal of coordination with my husband, and I am blessed we work together.  While it doesn't always flow smoothly, I wouldn't change it for the world.
