Miles L. Mitzner

Mr. Mitzner took my case with only a few days to prepare due to circumstances out of anyone's control. Him and I had a brief phone call to cover any questions or concerns going into my hearing, which was scheduled the very next day. He was very informed about my case and went on to prepare me for w...hat to expect. We had not met previously but after that phone call I felt confident in his abilities. During the hearing he impressed me further with his level of detail pertaining to my case, given he had so little to time prepare and familiarize himself with it. I would and will refer him to anyone needing his services.

Miles represented me in a social security disability case. Although he represented me, I never actually met him. Whenever I called his office, I did not talk to him but to one of his clerks. It also seen that each time I called it would be a different Clerk. Quite often I will get conflicting informa...tion from two or three different Clerk. This was very frustrating for me period last but not least, miles could not even show me the courtesy of showing up at my hearing in front of a disability law judge. Although ultimately my case was approved, I feel it was in no way and he saying that Mile's did. Rather, it was a competency of the attorney he had sit in for him at the hearing.

I have been trying to get disability for the past five years. I hired Mr. Mitzner after my first attorney was unable to get a positive result. He recommended Mr. Mitzner to me and indicated that he was the best SSI attorney to hire. Mr. Mitzner took on my case (that was submitted by my first attor...ney) during the first appeal process. He did not have to do this because it was not guaranteed that his efforts would result in a positive outcome. Mr Mitzner did a phenomenal job citing over 25 legal justifications as to why I should be given SSI. Although we did not get positive results, I decided to apply for the second time using Mr. Mitzner from beginning to end. He and his staff did not hesitate to take on my second case. It is never easy to move forward and try the process the second time. Mr. Mitzner and his staff were with me all the way giving me support when I needed it and helping me fill out the endless paperwork. On the day of my second hearing, Mr. Mitzner and the other two attorneys put me at ease. They knew my case very well and did a lot of research to prepare for my case. This time the outcome was a favorable one. I now have peace in my life and can move forward without having SSI hanging over my head. Five years is a long time, but if Mr. Mitzner is fighting for you, it is worth the wait.

I have been with Mr Mitzner for over 4 years..we went to court and lost but I will never believe it had anything to do with my case as much as a personal situation with the judge, we applied for a federal review and won a new court date but again same judge, denied again. Never heard of testimony f...rom family caregivers and my doctors given weight in 1 hearing then given none in 2nd but reference of consideraton given to 4 people I never met. Judge never asked for me to see another doctor note have tests. ..it was so obvious to Mr Mitzner and myself that we won that we hugged in the lobby and talked about 4.5 years later and when I would get a check. .unfortunately denied and now asking federal again. I still refer people to Mr Mitzner and pray we end up successful. .I will never understand how a non medical, non accountable appointed judge can literally pick and pull each item and not my case as a whole. ... I would absolutely give 5 stars, my only thing is I wish I could get a little more access to him to help me understand the process.and talk about what went wrong ...did you know these judges are appointed for life...I think from what I have seen it might be the 1 job I could do...hire this guy, he knows his stuff!
