We contacted our atty on very short notice with a hope and prayer that she could save us before graduation within a week. We had been wrongfully terminated from our nursing program and wanted to be able to graduate with our class by that Friday. Michelle took on a case for me against a very big local university. They were bullies and made up some things about me as a student. I felt overwhelmed and wondered if I could take them on but after speaking with Michelle, I had renewed confidence. We went in hopeful and came out disappointed. We had clear cut physical evidence in hand of the abuse that has happened to us at our child's school (impeding of education of a child, retaliation on a child by administration for filing a complaint, evidence of falsifying attendance to collaborate a ...lie against student) but she said we had no case. The only thing we had was that they had denied our child an valuation for vision services. Needless to say, we feel that the school is allowed to abuse students, call the parents to the school under false pretenses, then have school police waiting for them to serve them a No Trespass order, and that this is all ok. We have decided to withdraw the child and homeschool her. We have no voice. The child has no voice to stop the abuse and over-reaching of authority. We are helpless against an institution that is supposed to educate children. We are disappointed in everything right now. Not blaming the lawyer but I just don't see how we didn't have a case especially with the evidence that she didn't seem interested in seeing.

Not that you ever enjoy having to hire an attorney, but if you have to, Michelle is the one you'll want. She went above and beyond to help quash a potentially complicated and expensive legal issue before it got out of hand. She was always optimistic yet realistic--not just telling me what I wanted ...to hear but what we could actually accomplish. Even so, she was able to get the matter completely dismissed! She ALWAYS responded either by phone or email (even after hours) either immediately or within the hour (as my situation was time-sensitive). Best of all she didn't price gauge me. Well worth every penny--in fact worth much more. Without reservation, I'd recommend Michelle Jones.
