We went in hopeful and came out disappointed. We had clear cut physical evidence in hand of the abuse that has happened to us at our child's school (impeding of education of a child, retaliation on a child by administration for filing a complaint, evidence of falsifying attendance to collaborate a ...lie against student) but she said we had no case. The only thing we had was that they had denied our child an valuation for vision services. Needless to say, we feel that the school is allowed to abuse students, call the parents to the school under false pretenses, then have school police waiting for them to serve them a No Trespass order, and that this is all ok. We have decided to withdraw the child and homeschool her. We have no voice. The child has no voice to stop the abuse and over-reaching of authority. We are helpless against an institution that is supposed to educate children. We are disappointed in everything right now. Not blaming the lawyer but I just don't see how we didn't have a case especially with the evidence that she didn't seem interested in seeing.
