After having experienced a tumultuous, and expensive custody proceeding that was just a year prior, I found myself dragged back into family court again where I was connected with Ms.Cooke. If you are in need of an attorney, Michelle is the only call you need to make. I hired her for a custody battle that lasted 6 months and she was absolutely amazing and got me results. I am a very high maintenance person and she had the skills to work with me and never once got annoyed with me and fou...ght for exactly what I asked from start to finish. Before hiring her, I met with a few other attorneys and after talking to her, my gut said to go with her and I am glad I did. She helped me through every step of the nightmare in a very timely matter with nothing but complete professionalism. I went to Michelle initially because I liked her reviews i found online and what information she listed on her website regarding the cases she had helped win in the past. I needed a lawyer to explain what rights I had as a Grandparent as my Granddaughters were being withheld from me for months at a ...time and I was concerned about their safety. I needed a lawyer to be firm but also to approach this in a way that didn't alienate family members involved. I learned from my consultation with Michelle that I certainly had rights to have visitation with them and that I could pursue joint legal custody and possibly placement of these Grandchildren if their living situation warranted such action.
