Very knowledgeable, concise an reliable - hired several times for corporate matters

I and my partners hired Mike several times over the course of the past few year to write solid corporate documents, agreements and represent us in business negotiations and disputes. Mike is very dependable , knowledgeable, to the point and very efficient. One of our businesses we hired Mike to repr...esent is a law firm as well. So we know what a legal professionals looks like and Mike represents it very well.

Switched sides and betrayed me

I hired Mike from 2015 thru 2017, including to defend me in trial against my commercial landlord's wrongful eviction attempt. Landlord failed, but I was still unhappy with the result. But now, seven years later, Mike has switched sides and has reintroduced himself as an enemy. He is now working fo...r my (criminally convicted) landlord, and he is attacking me wrongfully. Specifically, they are making demands for money and repairs they are not entitled to. Obviously Mike's betrayal and about-face reversal with his clients is upsetting. But his flip flop on specific lease-related issues is even more upsetting to me. In at least one issue (HVAC repairs), he appears to have completely inverted and changed the entire substance of his understanding. From my perspective, Mike's wrong reasoning and bad advice steered me into a conflict with the landlord regarding the HVACs - and then Mike switched sides and reversed his position on the issue. And now he's also demanding 150% of rental payments that he is not owed. Obviously, what Mike has done has made all these matters worse for everyone. And he should have realized the problems that he has caused and continues to cause. After all, he pivots from defending a business against a landlord and then starts attacking that same business on behalf of the same landlord, all at the same address, when absolutely none of the parties have changed and the passage of time has not been very long at all. Indeed, it's only been a few years and the business's entity name - which Mike was alternatively defending then attacking - is my initials spelled out - so he should have known. We worked together for over a year and a half, including a week-long trial along with numerous other court appearances. And it is the exact same HVAC repairs from 2016 I'm still fighting with the landlord about. Maybe Mike somehow "forgot" all of that, I wouldn't know, but that would seem to be a whole other problem. Altogether, I would not recommend Mike Galletch. Edit: I apologize for this edit, but I feel compelled to address these falsehoods posted by Mike in his response to my initial post above. It is in fact true that Mike switched sides and betrayed me despite his denials - and I have the emails to prove it. In fact, he represented my landlord against me until I filed a complaint about him with the WA State Bar Association for this very reason: switching sides in a dispute, which in my mind is a "betrayal." At that point Mike withdrew his representation, but my complaint with the Bar is still pending as of this date. It is also true that the landlord Mike first defended me against, and then subsequently represented against me, is indeed a convicted criminal - and in fact it was Mike who dug up this 2009 fraud conviction back in 2016 when he was representing me. Again, I have the emails to prove it. It is also true, as Mike posted, that I did have a few other legal problems - although I strongly dispute Mike's characterization of events and maintain that the judge got things wrong - but that's what happens when resources run dry. However irrelevant all that may be, I believe Mike is just trying to discredit me personally instead of addressing the substance of my complaint - which, incidentally, is exactly what he's doing regarding my complaint against him with the WA State Bar.

This post is false and defamatory. I did represent the individual in 2016, and we prevailed in a trial. At that time, the individual stated repeatedly he was very satisfied and happy. I am not working, nor have worked, for a landlord who was "criminally convicted"; and never allegedly "betrayed" this poster. Whatever he may be upset now, 7 years later, has nothing to do with what I helped him with 7 years ago, but appears to be because of his own conduct without me involved. After I stopped representing this poster, he then lost two separate cases where the Court found, after a trial: *He charged an 80 year old man with an axe handle. *Was videotaped tearing off wiper blades, intentionally driving his car at an individual, ramming a dumpster into another's car. *Changed locks to prevent a co-tenant from entering the building. *Defamed a Church and an individual which the jury found was with malice and reckless disregard. *The poster's story was not credible, where he offered a fake lease. I was not involved in those cases at all. King County Superior Court case no 17-2-16669-3 (entered by the Court Aug. 21, 2019); and 20-2-03329-4 (judgments entered Feb. 10, 2023). The Court entered a permanent injunction against the poster, and he has several judgments against him. A receiver was recently appointed over his business and apparently is trying to sell his business to pay the judgments.

Won TWO back to back arbitration cases

Michael handled two arbitration cases for us. One was with a builder and one was with an HOA. We were the defendants in both cases. On the builder case we had worked with 3 other attorneys and had basically been told we were screwed. Michael Galletch came in on the tail end of this case; an arbitra...tor had already been assigned. Michael didn't pull any punches he told us it would be an up hill battle, but he immediately got to work researching the situation, he kept us in the loop continually. He wrote a well thought out , thorough brief, the arbitrator agreed with us and ruled in our favor, even awarding us attorney fees! The second case was given to Michael at even a later date than the first case, he basically had a week to prepare for that case. Again Michael Galletch was immediate in action, researching the specifics of our position and wrote a very detailed three page brief for the arbitrator. Once the HOA read Michaels arguments, they dropped their suit, as they were aware that they would loose and would have to pay our attorney fees. We had also worked with three other attorneys on this case. We are extremely pleased with the integrity and honesty that Michael Galletch portrayed. We highly recommend Michael and will use him in the future.

Attention to detail

I used Michael approximately 8 months ago to review contract documents; he was thorough and detailed. The opposing council was attempting to keep 100% of my earnest money. Mike was able to review the documents and determine that a substancial refund was due back to me. Another attorney had rev...iewed the documents and missed the details. Thanks to Michael's thoroughness , my money was refunded.

Invaluable and Insightful

Mike handled a business dispute for us--he undersold and over delivered. He had great insight and anticipated exactly what would happen. He kept us informed through out and, his put me at ease. Really invaluable, and I know having worked with other lawyers before.

"I wholeheartedly endorse this lawyer's work. I have known and worked with Mike for five years, and been a partner with him for four. Mike is one of the most diligent, bright and determined trial lawyers I have met (and I have seen a lot having been a deputy prosecutor with King County for five years). When Mike takes on a case he immerses himself in it, identifying issues, strengths and weaknesses, and then formulating a strategy to maximize the strengths and mitigate weaknesses. Mike also has the unique ability to explain a matter, in a clear concise way, to his clients. Mike's balance of honesty, integrity, forthrightness and dogged determination make him a success in the courtroom and in his transactional practice."
