Mr Kilby represented me, he lost my case due to the fact he did not follow the magistrate advice of getting a CFI involved. Leaving the child in a environment with a convicted sex offender, and no running water. Mr Kilby had very poor communication, never provided me a bill summary. The only gain wa...s that visitation got reinstated. Mr Kilby also said he was going to appeal the case, and I never heard from him unless he wanted a payment, at which point I requested a bill summary

Inexperienced, unresponsive, and horrible "attorney".

This kid is beyond green and unprepared. He needs years with a real firm to learn how to be a lawyer. Not only was he completely unprepared, he was late to every meeting, never kept time commitments with communication, and was unable to handle the most basic arguments during trial. When his legal ...argument is "That's just not fair" after being goaded by opposing counsel, you know you're in for bad results. To provide more perspective, he burned every second he had, while opposing counsel had more than 45 minutes left for argument, and I lost everything. He was unable to represent my interests and did not even present the points agreed upon during the minimal trial preparation. With out going into all details, he made my situation worse through his presentation of facts. Opposing counsel was surprised by the orders, but admitted how poorly he did in communications after the trial. Post trial he remained unresponsive in communications with both myself and opposing counsel. This resulted in losing half of my summer with my kids. He writes a nice letter to convince you of his capabilities, and then bills hours without results. DO NOT PUT YOUR TRUST AND LIFE INTO THIS ATTORNEY'S HANDS.

Review of Mr. Kilby’s performance

Mr. Kilby has done and continues to perform in an excellent manner while working on my child custody case. His performance has been excellent for the following reasons: 1. He is quick to respond to me when I have a question. 2. He provided timely updates about my case without me asking for them. ... 3. The third and most important reason is his ability to conduct adequate and relevant research and in-turn write a complete and precise motion to file with the court. The motion he wrote for me was expertly written and only had one typo (which we fixed before signing). The motion was both powerful and compelling and fit my unique situation perfectly. I look forward to working with Mr. Kilby as my case progresses.
