I contacted Mario A. Reed, Esq. because a relative attended one of his workshops and used his service in regard to real estate. I am thankful to Mr. Reed who patiently and thoroughly explained the real estate sell contract line by line, making the necessary changes that would be in my best interest. ...I know I would have made a costly mistake if I had not let Mr. Reed handle this transaction. He stayed on top of everything--prompt with supplying all needed documents to the other party. When the other party delayed the process by taking unnecessary time to sign off on the documents, Mr. Reed kept in touch with them--tactfully sending reminders and keeping me informed through emails and phone calls in regard to all correspondence to and from the other party. Mr. Reed's knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to not only achieving positive results but also education on real estate laws earned my trust in him. He never disappointed me through the whole process. Mr. Reed was available--when I called, I was not blocked from speaking directly to him. If he was not available, he always contacted me within an hour to 2 hours. Mr. Reed reaches out to the community providing informative workshops to empower his clients as stated on his law office website. I would urge anyone to seek his services and attend his workshops. He is a person with integrity, he is honest and positive. He has such an upbeat personality which helps when you're facing legal red tape--he cuts right through it with effective communication skills--orally articulate and good written communication skills. To sum up my attorney/client experience with Mr. Reed: he possesses good listening skills, people and judgement skills along with perseverance.

I hired Mario to straighten out a homestead exemption my father failed to do , very knowledgeable and had most of the paperwork completed before I arrived ! I reached out to Mario because of a issue that is on my credit report. The number provided connected me to him. I left a message, the next morning received a call back. He was very rude and spoke quickly. Giving me information to contact some one else with the matter at hand(even tho the number provi...ded led directly to him). he gave me info about what the matter was about and when i tried to explain to him that what he was informing me was incorrect. he quickly just hung up on me. I called back, a little heated considering I am also at work, I tried explaining to him what i was actually calling about and he again spoke quickly and hung up on me. He is very unprofessional and rude. He also spoke as if he had personal feelings about me and my case of the matter at hand. he did not provide me with any information pertaining to my call. I feel that this issue happens frequently with people that work for the state of Illinios. I believe that no person working for the state should have that type of attitude with any one trying to seek information, especially when the number provided is their office. If state employees would take the time to actually hear the person, and respect that person regardless of their personal feelings about the matter, things would get handled quicker. There should not be an argument about anything and if Mario (in this case) would have just listened respectfully, and tried to help respectfully instead of rushing me off the phone and rudely hanging up on me several times the matter could have been handled. I believe that people working for the state believe they are above the law and everyone else. I feel that people of this nature should not be able to work in state positions. All I had was a question about whats on my credit report and called the number provided. The info he had given me did not match the info on my report and when i tried telling him that, he would not even let me speak then rudely hung up on me. After calling back several times (finally after losing my cool because of how i was being treated) it became an argument for no reason and he started making remarks about me and my case which is highly unprofessional. I would not recommend this man to any one. I truly feel that he should not even be in the position he is in if he can not talk calmly and respectfully to any individual. He needs a course in customer service. Again, Mario is very unprofessional and i would not recommend him to anyone! I am very upset on how Mario handled the situation, and i still have nothing resolved. this man should not be employed with the state. I give him zero stars.
