"I tried cases against Linda when she was a prosecutor, and was always impressed with her courtroom presence and attention to detail. Now that she is a defense attorney, we have discussed issues related to defending our clients, and I must say I am equally impressed with the passion and work ethic she puts forth toward every client. Suspension Partially Stayed Placed on Probation issued in CO, 2013
updated on 03/28/2017Suspension partially stayed means the attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. When the attorney returns to practice he or she will be on probation, meaning the State monitors the attorney's activities for a period of time in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior
“I won the case. I fought for my client because I knew he was innocent and, even though I was ultimately disciplined for my trial strategy, the client was found not guilty by the judge. The client was not entitled to a jury trial. The client was not entitled to a jury trial so I tried a unique approach to challenge idenitifcation and ulimately I wasn't allowed to put someone who was not my client at defense counsel's table and have my client in the courtroom. My mistake, my client's freedom.”
