Lesly was named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a distinction reserved for just 1% of attorneys in each jurisdiction. Lesly was also the immediate past Chair of the Estate and Financial Committee of the American Bar Association (GP Solo division) and a past Chair of the Florida Bar Consumer Protection Law Committee. For nearly a decade she served as a contributing author and editor of the ABA's GPSolo magazine.
