Had been selectively ignored, mismanaged and generally the victim of what I felt was inept and ineffective representation by multiple attorneys from two law firms . Enters Laura. My case was handled with exquisite acumen, attention to detail and in a vigorous and effective way. Results blew way pa...st expectations and the tenor of the negotiations were such that Laura took charge by countersuing the business/ real estate attorneys. Not only was she ( and I) successful but my adversary HAD to be embarrassed by this buzzsaw that presented imaginative case law along with tenacity resulting in our prevailing. Her efforts saved me tens of thousands of dollars. As my real estate investment portfolio grows not only am I hopeful to continue to retain Laura but, favored associates are being informed as to her talents. Those I don’t refer to Laura- my competition!

Laura went through one heck of a journey with me for a little over a year. She helped me get out of an abusive and controlling marriage and today I finally feel free! Once I filed for a divorce he would stalk, harass and threaten me and I had to place a protection order. Not only would he harass me b...ut he harassed Laura and her legal team the entire process. He posted on social media about her amongst other things. There was most definitely safety concerns and she never left! I am so grateful for her determination. We did it! Laura Tocheny And Michelle Ohara did the worse job possible. They did not respond to emails, they did not respond to phone calls, they did not call me back when said they would, it took about 2-3 days later to get a response from her or her para when they said a hour or couple hours and she didnt eve...n communicate with her para legal. I sent countless emails which she barely responded to any, all of these emails were for my case (all things she needed and asked for) when finally getting ahold of Laura she laughed when i asked “are you getting my emails because you're not responding to anything” but as soon as she talked to me they would quickly send me a bill statement. Laura’s math was wrong when we went to court, which was pointed out by the other lawyer and the judge BOTH times in court. Instead of advising me what to do she asked me what i wanted to do. Offering up no actual legal advise the entire time. The phone number listed with both of their emails didn't work 90% of the time and i had to text her directly. When we were in court the second time within 2 minutes of her presenting my case i knew i was going to lose, she was more emotional than professional, and emotionally rambled off to the judge what i said to her and couldn't even argue key facts that were in black and white, hiring Laura actually made the issue worse and ended up costing me 2-3times as much. Instead of giving me actual legal advise she told me what would get her the most financial gain, please do your research and do not believe for one second this lawyer has a 5 star review and if you’re wondering, she still hasnt responded, court was 5 days ago and not a word, so if you love your kid/s please do yourself a favor and do your research before hiring her or anyone that works with her firm.

I can not begin to tell you how much I appreciate Laura and her teams hard work! They definitely went to bat for me! I will be forever grateful to have this portion of my life over and closed! Laura gave great advice and was 100% transparent with me if she felt I was wasting my time asking for someth...ing. She also had great input on things I didn’t even think about adding/removing from a parenting plan. She was beyond easy to work with and worth it! Returned every email or phone call with a timely manner. I was struggling getting any movement in my divorce and she came in and got it settled and closed with a day to spare! Again Laura and her team where great and I highly recommend them!
