Laura Tocheny

Laura Tocheny practiced multiple fields of law, but her primarily focus has always been real property and business litigation. Laura assists clients with a variety of business matters including contract drafting and review, corporate governance, and litigation. Laura also assists clients with all dimensions of residential and commercial real estate disputes, including, asset management, transactions and administrative matters, property dispute resolution, and disposition. She also has extensive experience representing property owners and obtaining favorable outcomes in landlord-tenant law, fair housing, and creditor rights.

Laura has a background in risk management and real estate development which provide a unique and comprehensive perspective to client representation. She also has an MBA with a concentration in corporate compliance, which furthers her broad understanding of business client needs. 

In and out of the courtroom Laura prides herself on professionalism. Laura also takes pride in assisting clients to find practical solutions to their objectives and providing guidance during complex times.

Laura holds two bachelor's degrees from the University of Washington, a Master of Business degree, and a JD from Willamette University. 

Laura was active with the Orca Network and is active in various other organizations that support sea life habitat and resource protection. She has a love for animals and owns a hobby farm with goats, pigs, ducks, and geese.
