Mrs. Buckner was great. I hired her to represent me as I sought to get a Domestic Violence Protective Order. As one may imagine, during this time I emotional fragile, and scared. She took a very sensitive and delicate situation and handled it with the up-most care and respect. She gave me confidence.... She was prepared, and well organized in court and during our meetings. She was easy to get in-touch with, and she never made me feel like I was asking stupid questions. After our initial consultation, Mrs. Buckner got straight to work. We met a few times before the court date, and she made sure I was prepared for what was going to happen. On the first date of court Mrs. Buckner was there early enough that we had one last meeting, during court she was professional and persuasive. the defendant was granted a continuance, but Mrs. Buckner made sure I got a sooner date, so this did not extend into my school semester. At the second court date, she made it clear to the court that we did not want another continuance. She represented me with dedication, and persistence. We got the DVPO, and I honestly could not have done it without her. I was facing my abuser, and she made me feel like I was not alone. I would recommend Mrs. Buckner to everyone, especially if you are seeking a DVPO. She is dedicated, hard working, and professional.
