I attended a virtual seminar led by Klea Harris and was impressed with her experience and knowledge of estate planning. We had her review our old will and trusts, where she found that these documents did not achieve the result we wanted. We then engaged Klea to create a new plan and documents. It... was difficult for us to manage all of the work entailed in creating and funding an up-to-date trust. But she was always available when needed to encourage us and answer questions, and we felt that she really cared that we have the best documents possible. The video-taped interview at the end of the process was an action that none of my friends had ever heard of when their wills were drawn up, and that all of them thought was a wonderful legacy to leave for our children.

Equally important, however, was the sincerity of her desire to address and legally incorporate the specific concerns and wishes I had articulated as personal priorities for my Trust and other End-of-Life documents. Therein lies the crux of why Klea Harris is not only an exceptional lawyer, but a remarkable human being. While her legal perspicuity and assiduousness are superlative, professional competence would not have sufficed to see me through the challenges of the process. It is the sincerity and depth of her commitment to serve her clients “by Love” as well as “by Law” that made her guidance a "kindly light" through this journey. With every meeting, every communiqué, my respect, admiration and gratitude augmented until, at the finalization, esteem for Klea Harris had elevated from Everest’s acme to astral. She is simply stellar.
