Kevin O'Mahony is an AV-Preeminent rated healthcare and business law attorney, representing clients in the Atlanta metro area. Previously, he led the healthcare practice groups of a midsize Atlanta and southeast regional law firm’s Atlanta office, where he was a partner. Before that, Kevin was a name partner in the Atlanta law firms of Allen McCain & O'Mahony and O'Mahony & Vancil, where he began representing Emory Healthcare, Emory University hospitals, The Emory Clinic, and other healthcare providers. He also was healthcare counsel at the large Atlanta-based firms of Troutman Sanders (now Troutman Pepper) and Drew Eckl & Farnham. Mr. O'Mahony obtained his law degree with honors from William & Mary Law School in 1982. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and all Georgia trial and appellate courts. He also has served as an arbitrator and mediator for the National Arbitration Forum, been a litigation and arbitration instructor for the American Institute of Paralegal Studies, and is an American Health Law Association Neutral. He has earned an AV Preeminent Martindale Hubbell rating (the highest possible rating in both leagl ability and ehtical standards), holds a perfect 10.0/10.0 rating from Avvo, and is an American Lawyer Media and Martindale-Hubbell Top Rated Lawyer in Healthcare and Litigation. He also has been recognized by Georgia Trend (a statewide business publication honoring Georgia's leading attorneys in various practice areas as determined by their peers) as one of Georgia’s Legal Elite, and voted a Georgia Super Lawyer.
