Upon showing up to court for a contempt hearing that she initiated she forgot to file our appearance with the court. All parties were sent home and the case was struck from the calendar, costing us all precious time and money. She told the court that I didn't want to mediate, which wasn't true and was subsequently informed of Washington State Law by the court assistant. The mediation took place One year later and now we have the EXACT same parenting plan, the EXACT same terms and conditions, and Zero money for her client. However she did make over $10,000 from our family during this already hard and trying time. As a self-defending, attorney-less father against an (experienced?) attorney in open court for FIVE appearances, i would sum my experience up as being thankful, for I was against her and not another more qualified attorney.
