I no longer have a law practice in Tehachapi and am now focused on writing full-time. I continue to be involved in the wind industry and law related to it. I will still take cases relating to the wind industry on a limited basis or consult on those matters.
I have successfully negotiated more wind energy lease agreements on behalf of private landowners than any attorney in the state. My knowledge of the wind industry includes everything from land use to zoning to the lack of regulations to protect the workers in the industry. I understand the mechanics and dynamics of the industry and accept a select number of personal injury and worker's compensation cross-over cases occuring at wind energy sites in California.

Amazing
What a gem! She fought for the same cause in the same earthly regime... the earth is our oyster. Fighting those who destroy it, fearlessly is the bravest we can be.

She came highly recommended by her community
I reached out to Kassandra Mcquillen as she came highly recommended by her fellow lawyers. I am a Christian single-mom and really need help with a scary divorce. I believe God lead me to her and I am praying she can help my children & I get through this.

Initial Contact
I called to discuss retaining her services; but she was kind enough to explain that I didn't need a lawyer without hearing my concerns. As I was about to explain my concern; she said 'gotta go' and hung up
I believe this person called my office and wanted to retain an attorney to review his CAR forms (realtor's job) on a home purchase. There was no legal issue he could identify in the brief time we spoke. He continued to talk to me, raising his voice and arguing with me after I declined representation so yes, I hung up on him. He was never a client nor would I work with someone who behaved in this manner. The simple fact is that I honestly decline to represent people who do not actually have the need for my services. I do not believe this rises to the occasion to warrant leaving an anonymous "client review" - especially because the person has never actually consulted with me!

Excellent service and results
We hired Kassandra to represent us in a particularly challenging land-use dispute between our existing airport and proposed wind turbine development. Kassandra's proposed solution was innovative and potentially precedent-setting. Over a period of approximately 18 months Kassandra worked diligentl...

By far THE MOST CAPABLE LAWYER I have EVER had the pleasure of doing business with. This woman will not quit until she has won your case and/or has done all that she can do. Kassandra is an incredibly interesting human being, is a pleasure to be around, is a wonderful mother and, quite honestly, i...
"Kassandra is one of the most diligent attorneys I have met in my professional career. If she takes a case, she will do an excellent job representing her client. She is also one of the few experts on wind energy and wind lease contracting in Kern County."
"Kassandra is an amazing lawyer. I've known her since she was a student in my writs and appeals class. She is smart, a good writer, , creative and practical. I consulted with her on a major case she handled, and was repeatedly impressed by her resilience and tenacity."
"This is someone I would want on my side of a Real Estate or Business dispute. Simply stated, Kassandra is an asset to the community."
