Ms. Gardner was unable to get an order of protection against an non permanent resident who had no legal representation and had a record of alcoholism and I had suffered irrepable eye damage as a result of the abuse. She lied to me saying it didn't matter how long ago the incident of abuse was and th...e judge sited the age of the abuse as one of the reason for the dismissal of the CFP. She lied to the judge saying that my witness was unable to testify because of "prior commitments" even though I emailed her that the witness was afraid for his life and becoming a target like I still am. Kali had no other documents other than the ones I provided for her which included medical records and Letters from the doctors. She did not even get my counseling records for the case though I had signed the release form. I can't even grasp how incompetent she is as a lawyer yet so confident in herself. She has yet to return all of the documents I provided her. She sabotaged my case with her ineptness. Don't hire her. She herself said she " can not do anything if a respondant lies on the stand" My questions is : if she can't , who can ? Save your money and represent yourself. You have a better chance of winning too

I had the privilege of working with Kali Gardner in a family court case that stemmed from an extensive criminal investigation. The criminal case was well documented in the media so any actions taken during the family court proceedings following the conclusion of the criminal case had the potential o...f being scrutinized. Ms. Gardner was sought out for this task given her experience assisting non-profit agencies and offering her services to domestic abuse victims in need of representation who were experiencing financial challenges. The criminal investigation spanned over two years. Ms. Gardner familiarized herself with the entire criminal case to prepare the best representation for the victim. Several of the parties involved in the investigation had been threatened by the defendant for simply supporting the victim. Despite this, Ms. Gardner welcomed the opportunity to help a victim in obvious need. Ms. Gardner negotiated the victim’s expectations directly with the defendant and obtained a positive outcome for the victim and her children. She displayed poise and professionalism while dealing with a potentially volatile situation. Ms. Gardner demonstrated the empathy and tenacity I would expect if it were my own family member in need. I will continue to send clients to Ms. Gardner knowing they are in competent hands, and I look forward to working with her again in the future.
