Joseph K. Chancellor

After an accident in my house an overly aggressive officer arrested me based on his false assumption. Having never been arrested before, never even a traffic ticket, I was surprised, stunned and didn't know what was happening. The first lawyer I had was terrible and Joe Chancellor came in, straitened... out all the mistakes and handled the case in a very professional manner. It was quickly dismissed thanks to Joe's presentation of the facts. I highly recommend him to anyone for any legal assistance. He is continuing to work on the case due to the police misconduct.

 The matter that Joe handled was relatively minor, but needed some very delicate handling and Joe did an excellent job. My situation was really the matter of a civil dispute which an over zealous policeman attempted to make a criminal matter. 

 I understand that Joe has had some difficulty some time ago, but despite that the public would be well served by his talents at helping people in any kind of legal difficulty. 

 I would use him again without any reservation and would refer him to any friend or stranger. 
Joe's unique skills are rare and sorely needed by the public.

Chancellor took my retainer and promised me he had breakfast with an adjustor everyday as he was his neighbor - he then dropped my for no reason after I had paid him over $1,000.00 - be careful - the guy does not even have his own office space - just leases it out for meetings at 2 Canal Park in Camb...ridge.

Retained Joe a number of years ago for an OUI case and needed someone to navigate me through the process. Since OUI's are so complex, there are many aspects to be evaluated during the entire process. In the end, he steered me down the wrong road and questions were incorrectly answered, which left m...e at a crossroads. To sum it up, he wasn't a good legal guide in the process and is highly cautioned against.
