Joseph K. Chancellor

This guy was hired to represent me in my divorce. I was coming out of a highly emotionally abusive marriage with two young children. I got divorced but that was all. No support of any kind. When I filed bankruptcy several years later the attorney I hired for that looked over my divorce agreement and ...said “this is the worst divorce agreement I have ever seen! Who was your lawyer?”

I hired Attorney Chancellor to represent me in a very serious criminal matter. I was charged with A&B with a dangerous weapon. I took it to a jury trial and Attorney Chancellor got me a NOT GUILTY. I had a public defender in the beginning but realized quickly that I needed a private attorney. Attorne...y Chancellor's questioning of the police witnesses was fabulous. He actually had the jury laughing at one point. I would absolutely recommend Attorney Chancellor for any legal issue. He's smart, influential and very good.

Some of the lawyers that I have used were nationally recognized for their talents and though Joe didn't fit that niche his talents and practices equal their expertise. 

 The matter that Joe handled was relatively minor, but needed some very delicate handling and Joe did an excellent job. My situation was really the matter of a civil dispute which an over zealous policeman attempted to make a criminal matter. 

 I understand that Joe has had some difficulty some time ago, but despite that the public would be well served by his talents at helping people in any kind of legal difficulty. 

 I would use him again without any reservation and would refer him to any friend or stranger. 
Joe's unique skills are rare and sorely needed by the public.

Retained Joe a number of years ago for an OUI case and needed someone to navigate me through the process. Since OUI's are so complex, there are many aspects to be evaluated during the entire process. In the end, he steered me down the wrong road and questions were incorrectly answered, which left m...e at a crossroads. To sum it up, he wasn't a good legal guide in the process and is highly cautioned against.
