I contacted John Vargas to assist me with drafting my Last Will and Testament, DPOA for Health Care, DPOA (for Financial), and Health Care Directive. WA-Wills was a lifeline to bring my husband and me in for our Estate planning needs. The website introduced me to the thought process of drafting a Will and to the legal language necessary to construct a Will specific to my end of life wishes. After working through the entire Will drafting process ...and all the definitions, I felt empowered to make an appointment and communicate what I wanted to be done. We hired John Varga to draft mirror Wills, Power of Attorney, the Health Care Directive and Power of Attorney for Health Care decisions. John was thorough in the interview process, systematically covering the aspects of our Estate, and personable. He demonstrated functional knowledge of Washington law answering our questions and alerting us to additional matters we had not considered before the interview. While our estate is modest enough to be managed with a Basic Will, it is nevertheless important to us that our hard earned assets pass to our decendants. For me, it was necessary to specifically exclude certain family members who are not my descendants from my Will. John not only structured my Will to include my specific wishes, he found the legal words to soften my candid language. The process took two visits, and a couple of emails to ask and answer questions. End result is a wonderful sense of relief to know we have our descendents remembered and a measure of protection for a time of diminished capacity.

John recently assisted me with my landlord dispute. He helped me feel empowered after my landlord took advantage of holding my security deposit. John composed a letter & mailed it on my behalf.
