John E. Palermo

Mr. Palermo became a licensed attorney over 17 years ago. He is licensed in California and Nevada.

He has extensive personal injury experience. Mr. Palermo has performed a combined total of over 1,000 depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, arbitrations, and court hearings. He also has trial experience. Many attorneys lack trial experience. Similar to other lawyers Mr. Palermo settles most of his cases out of court. However, he believes that his courtroom experience gives him an advantage in obtaining better settlements.

Prior to representing injured plaintiffs, Mr. Palermo practiced in California in the field of worker’s compensation law.  He represented a nationwide retailer in southern California.

Mr. Palermo’s educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He earned a law school scholarship based on his GPA, and high score on the Law School Admissions Test. He then attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, where he excelled academically.  He graduated in 2000 with a Juris Doctor degree. His law school honors include: Law Review, an honor bestowed only on the top ten-percent of a school's first-year class; Dean’s honor roll; American Jurisprudence Award, this award is earned by the one student with the highest grade in a particular class -- Mr. Palermo earned this award in several law school classes including Legal Skills; Pro Bono Honor Society Award. Mr. Palermo earned this award for providing community service, free of charge.  

Mr. Palermo is dedicated to helping injured people. He takes pride in standing up for their rights against insurance companies and large corporations. Mr. Palermo lived part of his childhood in Spain, and speaks Spanish fluently.
