My lawyer Jill J. Smith

Jill is the real truth - not your typical layer. When you sit and meet with Jill (doesn't act above you) she will put you at ease and a lot of your stresses will be eliminated once you leave her office. She has studied the mortgage industry thoroughly from many angles and knows exactly what she is... doing. She plans careful strategies for each individual case. Jill has integrity and shows compassion for her clients, she's clear with her fee structure and keeps you in the loop when new things happen in your case. She will tell you the good and the bad and educate you along the journey. For example, I had no idea what MERS was, not a typical discussion for the average homeowner. I understand now that many home owners have been improperly foreclosed on and no one seems to care. If you want to keep our home you've got to make the decision to fight for it. You need good representation to be successful. Jill gives you hope and assures you she will fight for you from the beginning to he end. She won't drop you if things get tough. It's unfortunate you need legal representation to save your home. Many lawyers want to much and do 'nothing' - it's just a pay check for them and they are too expensive for ordinary/middle class people to afford. I've talked and met with a few lawyers and I was the most comfortable with Jill. Once you confirm her representing you she will put on her boxing gloves and step right in to the ring on your behalf. She has no fear of her opponents. I've also learned that most of the mortgage help programs out their are just smoke screens. Organizations are screening folks, going through the motions and in the end the companies get paid and then it's suggested to home owners to sell and just bow out gracefully and go for a new start. Easier said then done. What banks are doing to people is a disgrace. Jill understands this. Excuse my expression here; what the 'big dogs' don't get is this - homes are family history: marriages, births, graduations, celebrations, home goings, efforts it took to purchase homes, memories, sacrifices etc. Jill understands the principals of life and what's important to people. If there were an army of Jills, things would change in the mortgage industry and our economy would get a real boost. If you don't believer me, check her out if you can get in. As I said earlier, she is the truth!

Bogus

Very supporting about my issues then does nothing but act like a nine year old brat. Promised for months that a para-legal would call. Finally had another attorney discuss case because she was too busy and I bothered her by inquiring every couple months about status. He quit her the next day, so now ...she was handicapped and filed in wrong court and failed to follow through with any of the information which I accurately gave her and watched her take notes on. Knew nothing, then throws a tantrum when reads the disappointment on my face. I HAVE seen 7 year olds act with more composure in court. Her process server boyfriend and herself were evasive and misleading. She demanded more money before presenting the case and has never returned any, or my documents where she retained originals. You will be taken with her sales job that emphasizes and supports your position. SHE will be your savior before she turns on you after draining the maximum she can from your wallet, all under last minute dead-line pressure. Then it is YOUR fault as the drunken child comes out. A complete incompetent. A waste of thousands of dollars charged and thousands more a competent should have been able to acquire from defendant in short time, before statute of limitations expires.

Foreclosure Fraud Attorney

Jill Smith is on the very front lines in Washington State as a litigator challenging foreclosure fraud. Many are recognizing the current foreclosure epidemic as a symptom of the biggest financial fraud in world history. Read Matt Taibbi in Rolling Stone, or anything by Simon Johnson or the book... "Clouded Titles " by Dave Krieger. The banks ripped off trillions of dollars from the investors through bogus Mortgage Backed Securities, and many more Trillions from mainstreet through the Bailout which exceeded the mortgage debt of the United States. Now the banks are stealing houses by filing bogus documents in every county courthouse in the country trying to claim standing as a lender, while trampling 400 years of land law. Jill is fighting for my standing on two properties in Tacoma, Washington and things are looking promising so far. She is very willing to study the rapidly changing strategies and tactics. I personally have 1000-1500 hours tudying foreclosure fraud but would never try to fight pro se. Only a seasoned litigator like Jil Smith should be trusted with something as valuable as your home.
