Jill grew up in northwest Pennsylvania and moved to Orlando, Florida to attend the University of Central Florida where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. She worked in the defense and software industries for many years as a technical writer and supervisor and earned her Master's of Science degree in Business Management from Florida Institute of Technology. She attended law school at Barry University School of Law and moved to Tennessee in 2008 where she was hired as an Assistant Attorney General in the General Civil Division of the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General and Reporter. In 2009, she opened her private practice in Hendersonville TN where she focuses on criminal defense work, juvenile law, wills, and family law.
She especially enjoys working with juveniles charged with offenses and does her best to resolve their charges in a way that helps them learn from their mistakes but not jeopardize their future. Many parents don't realize that juvenile drug convictions can affect a person's ability to receive financial aid for continuing education - even student loans.
She is married to a retired engineer and has a stepson who is a Ph.d. chemical engineer in Colorado; a son who is a mechanical engineer with Nissan in Decherd, TN; and a son who is a chemical engineer at Parker Hannefin in Lebanon, TN. Both sons graduated from the University of Tennessee. Go Vols!
