I grew up in a very middle class family where my mother was a stay at home mom and my father was a truck driver. My life growing up was centered on family and we spent almost, if not all, of our weekends and holidays with cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. In high school, I applied to colleges and was accepted, only to find out my parents did not have any idea how to navigate the world of post-secondary schooling let alone how to pay for it. Because of this I enlisted in the Air Force. While serving in the Air Force I took advantage of the wonderful educational opportunities afforded to me. I ended up taking advantage of the “bootstrap” program and attended the University of Delaware while being in the Delaware Air National Guard and R.O.T.C. Upon graduation I was the first member of my family to graduate college.
I made the decision after 13 years to attend law school and begin a different chapter of my life. I have dedicated my second adult career to families, both in family law court and juvenile court. So many families need help, especially children. I have been blessed to have adopted 2 wonderful children out of the foster care system which has only strengthened my desire and commitment to help broken families reach the best possible outcomes. This is exactly what Ashby Law represents and why I am so fortunate to be part of this team. I facilitate many adoptions and it is incredibly fulfilling to see the joy in the families faces when they become whole.

Jerry's counsel restored the parent/child relationship!
It worked! Never before has an attorney's guidance worked on my particular situation. I engaged Mr. Jerry Davis because I was in need to modify the existing Parenting Plan as it was causing tremendous constraints and distress on both parents and the child. Jerry was the only lawyer (out of four I had...

Great attorney
The level of care and professionalism I found here was by far the one that stood out the most from the other attorneys I consulted with. I would highly recommend Jerry Davis and the Ashby Law Firm with no hesitation.

Child Support Adjustment
I sought representation for an adjustment in my child support obligation, which is required in Washington when children reach 12 years of age. I was unhappy with the attorney i hired for my divorce proceedings, and couldn't have been more pleased with Jerry. From the initial consultation until today,...

Paralegal- Alicia Oney
This grading is for the paralegal that worked on my case. Other than the initial onset of the case and a brief discussion with an office attorney- Alicia Oney was the primary person I dealt with. She was awesome. Instead of a basic open/shut case- this thing drew out to close to 9 months! As frustrat...
"Jerry worked directly for me handling high conflict cases involving parents and their rights to their children. I have seen his work for parents in the harshest circumstances and have the utmost confidence in his legal work and his ability to protect the parent child bond in every way possible."
