I hired Jeremy Samuels to represent me for a DUI charge, the first criminal charge of my life. He consistently failed to return my calls, showed up late multiple times for court hearings (which doesn't exactly give one a favorable impression to the judge), and left most of the communication to his se...cretary, Jamie. Per his recommendation, I decided to plea down to a lesser charge, even though my BAC was never tested (not at the scene or in jail). He said we had very little chance of success should we go to trial, and seemed much more concerned with wrapping the case up as quickly as possible (presumably to get to other, higher paying cases). When speaking to the judge directly, Jeremy wasn't articulate. He stuttered and carried himself like one would expect from an inexperienced, unfocused attorney. Several months later, when I needed clarification on a few things related to the case, he never returned my calls/emails. I left messages with Jamie and called everyday for three weeks, never getting an answer other than "Jeremy's very busy, I left him a message with your concerns and he should get back to you." Jeremy Samuels DOES NOT put it in even the most minimal amount of effort and care one would expect when hiring an attorney with their hard-earned money. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS.
